11 Questions from Kim Knight, Author
Why do you blog?
I began a rudimentary blog several years ago in my attempts to come out of my self-induced hermitage and connect with others through my words once again. Last year I began blogging in earnest, and attempt to share my thoughts and experiences via my blog so as to connect with other authors, readers, and anyone else who may glean validity from my words.
What ‘s your fav colour?
What’s your fav movie?
It is so difficult to choose only one, but probably Fried Green Tomatoes
What would you do if you have a million pounds?
Ha! As I understand the exchange rate at the moment, that would translate into US 1.33 million US Dollars. Regardless, if I had such monetary wealth, I would share it with those who need it most. I would also use it to invest and set up financial security so my husband, who has Type 1 Diabetes and other health issues, would not have to sweat away 45 hours a week in an auto manufacturing plant and so I could write full time.
What was your fav subject at school?
Anything to do with the arts…English/Literature, Music, Art
Tell me about a dream or goal you have set yourself?
I have achieved so many this year alone. My next goal is to publish my first novel, which I have already written and am working to revise.
Red or white wine?
Most definitely Red, my favorites being any Pinot Noir, Italian Red Wine blends, and Apothic Red
Kindle or paperback ?
Definitely paperbacks and hard-bound books. I’m old school.
What are you reading?
Two books at the moment: I Am Malala by Christina Lamb and Malala Yousafzai, and Look Homeward, Angel by Thomas Wolfe.
Is there one subject you would NEVER WRITE ABOUT and WHY?
Romance or Erotica. I simply cannot do it. I have too many issues with both subjects that I have overcome as far as my personal life, but writing about them is emotionally draining. In my current MS, I wrote a tame sex scene and it took me days to recover.
What’s your fav time of year?
